Our body’s reaction to stress and injury is to contract and protect.  This leads to muscles and fascia that are chronically tight, restricting movement and breath.  This workshop is not about stretching but learning to allow our natural capacity to lengthen.  Restoring the capacity to lengthen restores movement, health, and vitality in so many ways.

Join us for a weekend of movement exploration, camaraderie, and restoration of ease in scenic Homer Alaska.  The retreat starts with dinner Friday, September 9th and ends Sunday, September 11th at 11 am. The cost including lodging and food will be $475.  A $200 deposit will reserve your space. Venue is http://knobhillguesthouse.com/

Meal prep will be shared, each attendee will be expected to help prepare one meal.  Allowances for food intolerances will be respected in meal planning as best as possible.

Covid vaccination and negative covid test are required before the retreat.  As an extra precaution, a quick test will be supplied for use on Sat morning.  A commercial-grade UV/HEPA filter will be in operation in the teaching room.

Taught by Gail French, Feldenkrais Practitioner since 1993, retired physical therapist.  For questions or registration details contact gailpfrench@gmail.com, 907-344-6261.
